Job Title: PRN Pharmacist

Location: Red Springs, NC (Ongoing needs in Red Springs, Rowland, and Pembroke)

Current Schedule Needs:

• Thursday: Pembroke, NC
• Friday: Rowland, NC

About the Client:

Join a network of community and retail pharmacies located in small rural areas of North Carolina. With three locations situated about 15 minutes apart, you ll have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the local community.

Assignment Details:

• Term: PRN with ongoing needs
• Hours:
  • Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Saturday: 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM
  • Sunday: Closed

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform all essential functions of a retail pharmacist.
• Verify prescriptions and ensure accuracy.
• Oversee the work of pharmacy technicians.
• Provide patient counseling and education.
• Administer vaccinations, as needed.
• Manage prescription volume, which varies between 150-350 per day at each location.

System Used: Computer RX or Transaction Data Systems

Requirements:

• Current and active NC State Pharmacist license (no negative history).
• Flexibility with scheduling to meet pharmacy needs.
• Preferred experience with Computer RX or Transaction Data Systems (not required).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Certified to administer immunizations.

We are looking for a pharmacist who is flexible and available to fill shifts as needed. This role is ideal for semi-retired professionals or stay-at-home parents who are not ready to commit to full-time work.
