Pharmacist - Specialty Pharmacy - NYC, NY 10024

A busy specialty pharmacy in New York City is hiring a full-time Staff Pharmacist for a temp-to-perm opportunity. This role offers exposure to high-volume dispensing in a professional setting with growth potential and full benefits upon permanent hire.

Term of Assignment:
Temp to Perm

Schedule/Shift:

• Monday Friday: 9:00am 5:00pm

• Every 7th Saturday: 9:00am 2:00pm

Duties:

• Dispense and verify prescription medications in accordance with prescriber instructions

• Supervise pharmacy technicians, interns, and support staff

• Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and company procedures

• Ensure accurate medication preparation and labeling

• Collaborate with the Pharmacist-in-Charge to maintain efficient workflow

• Support operations in a high-volume environment (800+ prescriptions/day)

Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted NY State Pharmacist license

• Minimum of 1 year experience in retail, mail order, or specialty pharmacy

• Proven ability to work in a high-volume pharmacy setting

• Physically able to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks

Working Conditions:

• Requires constant standing or walking

• Manual dexterity necessary for prolonged periods of work
