Pharmacist - Specialty/Mail Order - New York, NY

RPh on the Go is searching for a Pharmacist to add to our team in New York, New York. This is a direct hire position and we are actively interviewing to start ASAP.

Pharmacy Hours:
Monday Friday 9:00am- 5:00pm Saturday 9:00am 2:00pm
Schedule: Monday Friday and every 7^th Saturday

Essential Duties:

• The Staff Pharmacist shall perform duties assigned by the Pharmacist-In-Charge (PIC).
• Supervise all pharmacy technicians, students/interns, pharmacy support staff
• Ensure strict compliance with all standardized professional policies and procedures
• Responsible for all activities related to dispensing medications.
• Fill prescriptions, verifying instructions from prescribing practitioners on the proper amounts of medication to dispense to patients

Requirements:

• NY State Pharmacist license (current, active with no negative history)
• Previous Retail, Mail Order or Specialty Pharmacy Experience is required
• MUST have experience working with high volume
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time in one spot.
