Pharmacist Sterile Compounding | Cincinnati OH

RPh on the Go has partnered with a renowned pharmacy in Cincinnati, OH to hire a Staff Pharmacist for a full-time evening shift position. This role requires an active Ohio pharmacist license and Sterile Compounding experience.

Shift Details:

• Monday-Friday 12:00pm-8:00pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the pharmacy technicians and/or data entry clerks to ensure proper data entry, workflow, security of the pharmacy area, and adherence to delivery schedules. Oversee ordering and prepacking by the pharmacy technicians.
• Oversee ordering and prepacking by the pharmacy technicians.
• Screen all new medication orders for appropriate dose, drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications prior to dispensing the medication.
• Assist in the proper ordering, handling, receiving, documentation, and storage of all controlled substances; assist in maintaining a perpetual inventory for schedule II drugs.

Requirements:

• Active and clear Ohio Pharmacist License
• Sterile compounding pharmacy experience
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced pharmacy environment
• Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Experience handling controlled substances and maintaining proper documentation
