We are searching for Pharmacist-In-Charge for a full-time assignment.
Pharmacy Hours:
Monday Friday 9:00am- 5:00pm Saturday 9:00am 2:00pm
Schedule: Monday Friday and every 7th Saturday
Overview:
  • The Staff Pharmacist shall perform duties assigned by the Pharmacist-In-Charge (PIC).
  • Supervise all pharmacy technicians, students/interns, pharmacy support staff
  • Ensure strict compliance with all standardized professional policies and procedures
  • Responsible for all activities related to dispensing medications.
  • Fill prescriptions, verifying instructions from prescribing practitioners on the proper amounts of medication to dispense to patients

Requirements:
  • NY State Pharmacist license (current, active with no negative history)
  • Previous Retail, Mail Order or Specialty Pharmacy Experience is required
  • MUST have experience working with HIGH VOLUME 800+ rx per day
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time in one spot.

Working Conditions:
  • Constant standing or walking about is required. Manual dexterity is required for sustained periods.
