Pharmacist Temp to Perm Specialty Pharmacy
RPh on the Go is actively hiring a Pharmacist in NYC. This is a 13-week Temporary to Permanent onsite role Pharmacist. The pharmacist will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical care to patients, including processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders.
Position details:
Location: NYC, NY 10024
Setting: 13-week Temporary to Permanent Pharmacist
Schedule: Monday Friday and every 7th Saturday, Pharmacy hours: Mon-Fri 9:00am-5:00pm, Sat 9:00am-2:00pm
Pay rate: up to $60/hour rate is firm
Key Responsibilities:
The Staff Pharmacist shall perform duties assigned by the Pharmacist-In-Charge (PIC)
Supervise all pharmacy technicians, students/interns, pharmacy support staff
Ensure strict compliance with all standardized professional policies and procedures
Responsible for all activities related to dispensing medications
Fill prescriptions, verifying instructions from prescribing practitioners on the proper amounts of medication to dispense to patients
Requirements:
NY State Pharmacist license (current, active with no negative history)
Previous Retail, Mail Order or Specialty Pharmacy Experience is required
MUST have experience working with HIGH VOLUME 800+ rx per day
Must be able to stand for long periods of time in one spot
