Pharmacy Biller - Near Waco, Texas

RPh on the Go is currently seeking an experienced Pharmacy Biller for a 13-week contract-to-hire position in Woodway, Texas. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to work with a reputable pharmacy in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. The successful candidate will handle billing tasks with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring that claims are submitted in a timely manner and following up on any denials or discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage billing and invoicing for pharmacy services, including prescription claims.
• Process insurance claims and work closely with third-party payers.
• Address claim denials and follow up to ensure timely reimbursements.
• Ensure compliance with billing regulations and guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of transactions and communications.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to resolve billing issues.

Shift:

• First shift: Monday - Friday, some Saturdays

Pharmacy Hours:

• Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 6:00pm
• Saturdays: 9:00am - 5:00pm

Requirements:

• Minimum one-year billing experience required.
• Experience in a LTC pharmacy background preferred.
• Pharmacy Technician license a plus but not required
