Pharmacy Biller 13-Week Temp-to-Perm Opportunity!

Shift Details:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays
• Hours:
  • Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Saturdays: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated individual with billing experience, ideally from a long-term care (LTC) pharmacy setting. Pharmacy technicians with experience working with insurance companies are also encouraged to apply. Please note, this role is focused exclusively on billing tasks not technician duties.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage Medicare A billing for nursing facilities
• Process billing for short and partial fill prescriptions
• Communicate with insurance companies to resolve disputes and verify coverage
• Conduct new admit reviews, including eligibility checks and insurance plan verification

Qualifications:

• At least one year of billing experience is required
• Background in LTC pharmacy is preferred
• Pharmacy Technician license is a plus, but not mandatory
