RPh on the Go is now hiring a full-time, dedicated pharmacy technician/buyer at a local pharmacy in Reno, NV. This is a full-time contract position with the potential for permanent hire. Assignment Specifics:

• Full time
• 13+ weeks temp to perm
• Shift: 1st shift- Monday to Friday 8-430pm

Job Duties:

• receiving medication orders, measuring quantities, counting tablets, and creating compounded medications
• Labeling medication bottles
• Recording required data into the pharmacy system
• Working with other healthcare professionals
• Delivering emergency medications to patient rooms or the patient care unit
• Sourcing and purchasing medications and supplies from vendors
• Ensuring adequate stock levels, minimizing waste, and managing outdated prescriptions

Requirements:

• NV License clear and active
• 2+ year of recent inpatient experience
• Sterile Compounding experience
• Must have Covid Vaccination
