Pharmacy Fill Technician Windsor Mill, MD

RPh on the Go is actively hiring a Pharmacy Fill Technician in Windsor Mill, MD. This is a Contract role. The Pharmacy Fill Technician will be responsible for accurately filling medications, assisting with medication preparation, and ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely manner under the supervision of a pharmacist.

Position details:
Location: Windsor Mill, MD
Schedule: Monday Friday 3:00pm-11:30pm, every other weekend Saturday and Sunday 7:00am-3:30pm

Key Responsibilities:
Pull/pick medications from shelving and other medication storage areas (prepack racks)
Accuracy check of final preparation prior to presenting to pharmacist
Fill daily drug orders accurately, efficiently, and in a timely and prioritized manner under the supervision of a pharmacist
Assist in processing returned drugs and recycle/dispose per procedure
Assist in pre-packing frequently ordered medications; label and stock as needed during low volume times
Package materials and products manually
Follow all applicable government regulations, including HIPAA
Maintain clean/organized workstation areas and replenish all stock supplies needed each shift

Requirements:
MD Pharmacy Technician license
Pharmacy experience
