Pharmacy - IV Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician Windsor Mill, Maryland

RPh on the Go has partnered up with Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician. This is a 13+ week contract position with a Monday Friday day shift and rotating weekends based on business needs.

Position details:
Contract status: Signed
Term of Assignment: ASAP 13+ weeks Contract
Shift: Day Shift Monday - Friday and rotating weekend if needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain Sterile Compounding room per USP 797 guidelines
• Fill prescriptions and prepare Sterile Compounding under pharmacist supervision
• Handle Long Term Care knowledge and orders
• Compound medications in a Class 100 clean room as directed
• Perform data entry and assist with facility calls
• Maintain and account for equipment
• Stock IV department areas and assist with safety checks
• Replenish Emergency Drug Kits for Long Term Care
• Adhere to HIPAA and communicate any concerns promptly
• Follow safety, attendance, and dress code policies
• May require overtime, holidays, and weekends
• Perform other assigned duties as needed

Requirements:

• MD license
• 2+ years of IV Sterile Compounding Experience
• Recent Sterile Compounding Pharmacy experience
