Pharmacy Manager (8+ Week Contract) - Wausau, Wisconsin

RPh on the Go is actively seeking an experienced and motivated Pharmacy Manager for an 8+ week contract at a renowned rehabilitation hospital in Wausau, Wisconsin. This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic pharmacist with management experience to contribute to a specialized healthcare environment while ensuring top-quality pharmaceutical care.

Position Details:

• Duration: 8+ weeks (with potential for extension)
• Location: Wausau, WI
• Setting: Rehabilitation hospital

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the pharmacy department.
• Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and regulatory guidelines.
• Manage and lead the pharmacy staff, including scheduling and workflow coordination.
• Monitor and optimize medication use and safety.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care.
• Maintain inventory and handle purchasing as needed.
• Provide leadership in implementing pharmacy services that enhance patient outcomes.

Shift:

• Monday to Friday 8:00am - 430pm
• On call might be required 4:30pm to 8:00am and 24 hours on Saturday and Sunday
• Must be willing to start on 10/14/24

Requirements:

• PIC experience 2+ years or more
• WI Pharmacist license
• 2+ years or more of recent Inpatient Hospital experience
