Job Overview:
RPH on the go is seeking a strong pharmacy leader to fill the role of Inpatient Hospital Pharmacy Manager (Pharmacist in Charge) in Wausau, WI. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing inpatient pharmacy operations and will be responsible for meeting customer requirements in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations of the inpatient pharmacy.
• Lead a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, ensuring compliance with regulations and hospital policies.
• Collaborate with hospital staff and other healthcare professionals to provide safe and effective medication management.
• Utilize Wellsky and Pyxis systems for efficient workflow and medication dispensing.
• Maintain high standards of patient care and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) experience: Minimum 2+ years.
• Active Wisconsin Pharmacist License (in good standing).
• Inpatient Hospital Experience: 2+ years of recent experience required.
• Knowledge of Wellsky and experience with Pyxis automation systems is preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Additional Information:

• No IV compounding required.
• Average bed size of 44 in the hospital.
