We are currently seeking a Pharmacist Manager for an established long-term care pharmacy in Camp Hill, PA. This is a fantastic temp-to-hire opportunity, offering the potential to secure a permanent position after 13+ weeks. If you have a strong background in pharmacy management, particularly in long-term care, and want to join a collaborative team, we would love to hear from you.


Position Details:

  • Work Hours:
    Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
    Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM (on-call every other weekend)

  • Work Week: 4 days, with one weekday off

  • Weekend Coverage: Rotating on-call for weekend shifts


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the long-term care pharmacy to ensure smooth and efficient workflow

  • Lead and mentor the pharmacy staff, maintaining a focus on teamwork and high standards of patient care

  • Ensure compliance with relevant state and federal regulations

  • Manage medication inventory, ensuring all medications are properly dispensed and stocked

  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to support patient medication needs

  • Provide training, guidance, and leadership to pharmacy technicians


Qualifications:

  • Active Pharmacist License in Pennsylvania

  • Experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) is highly valued

  • Familiarity with QS/1 Primecare is advantageous, though we re willing to train the right candidate

  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a team

  • Excellent communication skills and a patient-first approach to care
