Pharmacy Supervisor for Pharmacy Technicians - Peridot, AZ (Local Preferred)

Position: Pharmacy Supervisor (Temp to Perm)
Location: Peridot, AZ
Term of Assignment: 13+ weeks, temp to perm
Schedule: Monday Friday (Day Shift)

Overview:
RPH on the go is seeking a Pharmacy Supervisor with experience managing Pharmacy Technicians for a 13+ week temp-to-perm assignment. The ideal candidate will hold a PharmD or Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from an accredited school and possess relevant supervisory experience.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and oversee Pharmacy Technicians.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and hospital practices.
• Administer immunizations, vaccines, and emergency medications (preferred).
• Assist with day-to-day operations, ensuring quality control and patient safety.

Requirements:

• PharmD or Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited school of Pharmacy (PharmD preferred).
• Three years of pharmacist experience, with a minimum of two years in hospital practice preferred.
• Supervisory experience over Pharmacy Technicians (minimum 3 years).
• PGY1 residency (1 year) preferred.
• AHA BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Current and active, unrestricted Pharmacist license (Arizona license preferred).
• Must be licensed to administer immunizations, vaccines, and emergency medications (preferred).
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Traveler Requirements:

• Must hold a valid, unrestricted Pharmacist license from any U.S. state, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or a U.S. territory.
