Pharmacy Manager - Rehabilitation Hospital - Wausau, Wisconsin
RPh on the Go is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacy Manager to join a renowned rehabilitation hospital in Wausau, Wisconsin, for an 8+ week contract. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to provide leadership and expertise in a fast-paced healthcare environment, ensuring optimal pharmacy services for patients during their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and hospital policies.
- Provide clinical guidance and support to pharmacy staff, including pharmacists, technicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Manage the procurement, preparation, and dispensing of medications in accordance with prescribed protocols.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective medication therapy management for patients.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including inventory management, medication records, and billing procedures.
- Implement and monitor quality assurance initiatives to enhance pharmacy services.
- Train, mentor, and supervise pharmacy staff to ensure high performance and adherence to safety guidelines.
Shift:
- Monday to Friday 8:00am - 430pm
- On call might be required 4:30pm to 8:00am and 24 hours on Saturday and Sunday
- Must be willing to start on 10/14/24
Requirements:
- PIC experience 2+ years or more
- WI Pharmacist license
- 2+ years or more of recent Inpatient Hospital experience
Contract Details:
- Duration: 8+ weeks with potential for extension.
- Full-time position, Monday through Friday schedule.
