Long Term Care Pharmacy Technician in Elkhorn, NE

An opportunity is available for a full-time Pharmacy Technician to support medication management and dispensing in a Long Term Care setting. This 8-12 week contract role is based in Omaha, NE, offering a Monday through Friday day shift schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately pack and fill medications for patient use
• Perform data entry tasks related to prescriptions and inventory
• Communicate professionally with healthcare providers via phone to clarify medication orders and address inquiries

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Nebraska Pharmacy Technician License is required
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Pharmacy Technician in any pharmacy setting
• Certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) preferred but not mandatory
• Experience in Long Term Care pharmacy is beneficial but not required
• Ability to start immediately is essential
