Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Supervisor to oversee pharmacy technicians in Peridot, AZ. This full-time, temp-to-perm position is ideal for a pharmacist with leadership experience and a background in hospital or clinical settings. The role involves managing pharmacy staff, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing high-quality pharmaceutical care.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor of Science degree and/or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited school of pharmacy; PharmD preferred.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience supervising pharmacy technicians.
  • At least 3 years of pharmacist experience required, with 2 years in hospital practice preferred.
  • 1-year residency (PGY1) preferred.
• Certifications:
  • AHA BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • Licensed to administer immunizations, vaccines, and emergency medications preferred.
• Licensure:
  • Current and active, unrestricted pharmacist license; Arizona license preferred.
  • If traveling, must have a valid unrestricted pharmacist license from any state, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a U.S. territory.

Requirements:

• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and patient care abilities.
