We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacy technician to join our team. Temp to perm opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Review medication orders and patient profiles to ensure appropriate drug selection, dosage, and administration.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to develop comprehensive medication therapy plans for residents.
• Conduct medication regimen reviews and medication reconciliation to identify potential drug therapy problems and recommend appropriate interventions.
• Provide counseling to residents and their caregivers regarding medication use, side effects, and proper administration techniques.
• Oversee the storage, distribution, and disposal of medications in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Monitor medication therapy outcomes and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate and train healthcare staff on medication-related topics, including proper handling, storage, and administration.

Requirements:

• TX Pharmacy technician license
• 1+ year of recent experience
