Pharmacy Tech - Specialty - Full-Time - Near Champagne

Assignment Type: Ongoing, Full-Time (40 hours per week, excluding a 30-minute unpaid lunch break)

Facility Status: Specialty/Independent/Mail Order Facility specializing in high-priced HIV and Hepatitis (HEP) medications under the 340b program. A growing company with a strong reputation.

Pharmacy Technician Role:

We are seeking Pharmacy Technicians to join our team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This role primarily involves medication fulfillment and does not require compounding. We welcome candidates with a range of experience levels, from new graduates to those with prior experience.

Job Duties:

• Filling medication orders for high-value HIV and HEP medications.
• Stocking and inventory management.
• Packing and preparing orders for shipment.
• Adhering to standard store hours (9:00 am - 5:00 pm) with flexibility to cover PTO and sick days when needed.

Overview:

To be considered for this role, you should have the following qualifications:

• CA Pharmacy Technician License: A valid and current California Pharmacy Technician license.

• PTCB Certification: Preferred but not required.

• Retail Pharmacy Experience: Preferred, with at least 1 year of experience in a busy retail pharmacy environment.

• Ability to fill new medication orders, process refills, and renewals for pharmacy clients.

• Involvement in some aspects of shipping and receiving.

• We are open to accepting new graduates with a sharp, eager-to-learn attitude.
