RPH on the go is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our hospice outpatient pharmacy team in Tempe, AZ. The role involves supporting pharmacy operations in a specialty environment and assisting with medication dispensing and customer service.

Environment: Specialty, Hospice Outpatient Pharmacy
Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day Shift (10:00 AM - 6:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities:

• Medication Handling: Assist in preparing and dispensing medications accurately under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent support to patients and hospice staff, addressing inquiries and ensuring smooth service.
• Retail Operations: Perform pharmacy-related tasks such as processing prescriptions, managing inventory, and assisting with billing.
• Compliance: Ensure all pharmacy activities adhere to state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

• Pharmacy Technician Experience: Previous experience as a pharmacy technician, with a focus on retail pharmacy preferred.
• Licensure: Active and clear Arizona pharmacy technician license.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
