Data Entry Pharmacy Technician (13-Week Contract)

Location: Plant City, FL

Shifts: 1st

Hours: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm

Job Duties:

As a Data Entry Pharmacy Technician in this 13-week contract assignment, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of prescriptions to support the healthcare needs of our patients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Entering new and refill prescriptions into the operating system with precision to eliminate errors during the dispensing process.
• Triage incoming fax prescriptions to prioritize and ensure timely dispensing.
• Assisting with the filing of completed orders, packaging of medications, profiling of orders for medical records, and filling processed prescriptions.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:

• Active Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Florida.
• Recent pharmacy experience, demonstrating your proficiency in prescription data entry.
