Pharmacy Technician - 13+ Weeks - Long Island, NY

RPh on the Go is hiring a dedicated Pharmacy Technician for a temp-to-perm, full-time assignment in Plainview, Long Island, New York. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced pharmacy technician looking to grow in a long-term care pharmacy setting.

Position Overview:

• Job Type: Temp to Perm
• Length of Assignment: 13+ weeks
• Shift: Monday - Friday with rotating weekends, 11:00 am - 7:00 pm OR 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm
• Location: Plainview, Long Island, NY
• Setting: Long-Term Care Pharmacy

Key Responsibilities:

• Filling, packaging, labeling, and/or stocking medications
• Fill bottles or other package forms with a measured amount of medication, either manually or mechanically
• Label containers of drugs according to department specifications
• Familiarity with general pharmacy terminology (medication names, etc.)
• Comply with state and federal drug laws and company policies
• Perform related duties as required

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Previous retail or long-term care experience required
• At least 1 year of recent pharmacy technician experience
• Active NY Pharmacy Technician License
