Pharmacy Technician (8-week contract) Mid-shift - Temp to perm

We are seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician for an 8-week contract in a long-term care, mail order Pharmacy.

Shift: M-F (10:30AM-7PM); rotating weekends (9AM-5PM)

Responsibilities:

• Preparing and packaging medications for LTC residents, accurately labeling prescriptions, and ensuring proper documentation
• Maintaining inventory of medications and supplies, ordering medications and supplies, and monitoring resident medication usage for safety and effectiveness.
• Coordinating with healthcare providers to resolve medication issues and ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations.

Requirements:

• Pharmacy experience
• Kansas Pharmacy Technician license
• Experience with long-term care is a PLUS
