RPh on the go is searching for a Pharmacy Technician for a 13-week assignment.

Shift: Mid Shift 10:30 AM to 7:30 PM, Monday - Friday

Job Description:

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to assist with the pre-packing, picking, and pulling of medications, as well as performing other technician duties within the pharmacy.

While experience in IV compounding is a plus, the primary focus of this role is on packing. If you have experience as a pharmacy technician in a hospital, compounding, or retail setting, we encourage you to apply!

Key Responsibilities:

• Pre-packing: Assist with the preparation and packing of medications for dispensing.
• Picking & Pulling Medications: Select and pull medications according to prescriptions or inventory needs.
• Pharmacy Technician Duties: Support other pharmacy tasks as needed, such as inventory management, restocking, and assisting pharmacists.
• IV Compounding (Optional): If you have experience in IV compounding, this will be a plus, but is not required initially.

Required Qualifications:

• Pharmacy Technician Experience is required.
• Georgia Pharmacy Technician License is required.
• Hospital or Compounding Experience is a plus but not mandatory.
• Retail Pharmacy Technicians will also be considered.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with IV compounding (not required, but highly desirable).
• Familiarity with hospital pharmacy environments or advanced medication handling.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
