Pharmacy Technician - Full Time - Temp to Perm - Specialty Pharmacy - Austin, TX
Terms:

• Full-Time, Temp to Perm

Pharmacy Hours:

• Monday, Tuesday, & Friday: 9 AM - 5:30 PM
• Wednesday & Thursday: 9 AM - 8:30 PM
• Saturday: 9 AM - 1 PM
• Additional: Some travel to support other Austin pharmacy locations may be required.

Overview:

• Program System: Pioneer RX

Responsibilities:

• Prepare medications by counting, pouring, mixing, and packaging pharmaceuticals.
• Label containers and enter prescription information into our computer system.
• Verify insurance benefits and handle payment transactions at the Point of Service (POS).
• Interact with patients, case managers, and insurance companies to maintain positive relationships.
• Coordinate prescription deliveries and manage routine reports and correspondence.
• Address and resolve problems proactively while embracing the company s core values and goals.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED; Associate's degree or higher in a related health field preferred.
• One or more years of Pharmacy Technician experience.
• Must be registered with the Board of Pharmacy (BOP) in Texas and State Certified as a Pharmacy Technician.
• National Pharmacy Technician certification preferred.
• Proficient in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Strong MS Office skills and experience with pharmacy software preferred.
• Reliable transportation and a positive, flexible attitude.
