Pharmacy Technician between 2 locations - NYC, NY

Position: Pharmacy Technician
Location: New York, NY - Two locations: Zip Code 10004 and 10024

RPH on the go is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join a fast-paced, growing independent/mail-order facility, specializing in high-priced medications for HIV and Hepatitis. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience and be comfortable working in a busy, fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fill Prescriptions: Assist pharmacists in accurately filling and preparing prescriptions.
• Data Entry: Enter prescription information into the system efficiently.
• Inventory Management: Maintain, restock, and manage pharmacy inventory.
• Local Deliveries: Deliver prescriptions to nearby patients as needed.
• Patient Communication: Assist in patient interactions, ensuring a high level of customer service.

Pharmacy Hours:

• Tuesday Thursday: 8:00 AM 6:00 PM
• Monday Friday: 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM 5:00 PM

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Certification: Must be certified by the PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board).
• Registration: NY State Pharmacy Technician registration is preferred.
• Specialty Experience: Previous experience in mail-order or specialty pharmacy is a plus.
• Languages: Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
