Location: Remote, California

Shift: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM PST

Pay: $17 - $20 per hour weekly pay and medical benefits

Join my team as a Bilingual Remote Pharmacy Technician and play a crucial role in delivering essential healthcare services to patients. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will engage with patients over the phone, providing support on behalf of their health plan. Your responsibilities will include explaining clinical programs and benefits, identifying medication-related and health-related issues, and collaborating with pharmacists to ensure top-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Engagement: Interact with patients over the phone to explain clinical programs and benefits related to their health plans.

  • Issue Identification: Identify and escalate potential medication-related and health-related issues to pharmacists for resolution.

  • Provider Coordination: Obtain contact information for healthcare providers to facilitate clinical interventions.

  • Patient Data: Collect and maintain accurate patient information required for clinical interventions while ensuring confidentiality.

  • Professional Communication: Respond to phone calls from patients, providers, and pharmacies professionally and courteously.

  • Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous records using the client's software platform.

  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with the team to optimize workflows through participation in process improvement meetings.

  • Issue Resolution: Follow up with hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, and patients to promptly resolve clinical issues and concerns.

  • Patient Education: Prepare and distribute patient educational materials and other necessary items as needed.

  • Appointment Scheduling: Schedule telephonic or videoconference appointments with clinical pharmacists for patients.

Requirements:

  • Pharmacy Technician License: Hold a valid pharmacy technician license in your state of residence.

  • Remote Experience: Prior experience working remotely is required.

  • Bilingual Skills: Proficiency in a second language is essential. (Spanish)

  • Availability: Must be available to work from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM PST
