Job Title: Home Infusion Sterile Compounding Technician

Shift: 1st Shift
Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Overview: Our client is seeking a dedicated Home Infusion Sterile Compounding Technician to join their pharmacy team. With a workload of up to 150 prescriptions per day, the pharmacy operates with a supportive team of three pharmacists and two lead technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare IV sterile and Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN) compounds.
• Adhere to procedures, rules, and regulations to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Follow clean room guidelines for the accurate preparation of IV solutions and other sterile products.
• Collaborate effectively within a team to ensure high-quality service and patient care.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and organizational skills while managing multiple tasks.

Qualifications:

• Current Maryland State Pharmacy Technician License.
• Proven experience in IV sterile compounding.
• Experience in TPN compounding.
• Familiarity with Apex System is preferred.
