Pharmacy Technician- Claims Specialist- Insurance-Full Time-Somerset, NJ

RPh on the go is searching for a Pharmacy Technician with a strong background in Insurance and Billing. This is a full time 40-hour position Monday-Friday.

Setting: Long Term Care
Duration: 13+ weeks
Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:30 am-5:00 pm

Duties: As an Advanced Claims Review Specialist, the ideal candidate responsible for workflow - submitting retro rebilling claims to Medicare, Medicaid, and Private Insurances for reimbursement while performing other clerical duties as necessary.

• Read a report to identify claims needing follow-up
• Call an insurance plan requesting an override (script to be provided)
• Work in FrameWorks pharmacy system
  • Look up a claim
  • Review fill history
  • Understand residence codes & general drug classes (drives request)
  • Submit claim for payment

Ideal Candidate:

• NJ Pharmacy Tech License is required
• Recent Pharmacy Technician experience is required
