Pharmacy Technician Columbia MD

RPh on the go is searching for a pharmacy technician to work 2nd shift. Ideal candidate will have a year or more pharmacy experience.

Shift: 2nd Shift, 3pm - 11:30pm, M-F, rotating every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Medications: Count tablets, label bottles, and ensure proper packaging.
• Assist Pharmacists: Help in maintaining accurate patient records and medication histories.
• Inventory Management: Restock medications and supplies, and manage inventory.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent service to healthcare providers and patients by answering inquiries and processing prescription orders.
• Medication Delivery: Prepare and deliver medication carts to long-term care facilities.
• Quality Control: Conduct quality control checks on medications.
• Billing and Insurance: Assist in the billing and insurance claim process.
• Training: Help train new pharmacy technicians.
• Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all regulatory guidelines and company policies.

Required:

• Pharmacy experience.
• LTC experience a plus.
• Maryland Pharmacy technician license.
