Position Overview:

As a Patient Service Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting patients and ensuring smooth pharmacy operations. Strong communication skills and the ability to de-escalate challenging situations are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle prior authorization requests efficiently and accurately
• Communicate directly with clients and healthcare professionals
• De-escalate client issues in a calm and professional manner
• Provide high-level patient service and support
• Travel to client sites occasionally (within an hour radius)

Qualifications:

?? Pharmacy technician experience (retail experience acceptable)
?? Prior authorization experience required
?? Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
?? Reliable transportation for occasional travel
?? Illinois Pharmacy Technician License (Active and in good standing)
