Pharmacy Technician (Contract to Hire) Louisiana

RPh on the Go is currently seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician for a 6-month contract to hire position in a hospital environment in Louisiana. This is a great opportunity for candidates with retail experience looking to transition into a hospital setting.

Position Details:

• Shift: Monday to Friday, 7am - 3:30pm, with rotating weekends. May occasionally fill in for overnights.
• Location: Hospital Pharmacy

Key Responsibilities:

• Filling medication orders
• Medication delivery and auto cart fills
• Working with OmniCell (training provided)
• Utilizing EPIC for order management (training provided)

Requirements:

• Retail pharmacy experience (hospital training will be provided)
• Willingness to learn EPIC and OmniCell systems
• Louisiana Pharmacy Technician license
• PTCB certification is a plus but not required
