Pharmacy Technician - Contract to Potential Hire - Lowell, Massachusetts

RPh on the Go is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at a Long-Term Care facility in Lowell, MA. This role is ideal for a motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for supporting patient care.

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will assist the pharmacy team in preparing and distributing medications for residents in a long-term care setting. Your contribution will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate medication management for residents, enhancing their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, package, and label prescription medications accurately.
• Assist pharmacists in maintaining medication inventory.
• Support medication dispensing and order fulfillment processes.
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Ensure proper storage and organization of medications.
• Provide excellent customer service to the healthcare team and patients.

Shift:

• Monday - Friday: 9:00am - 8:00pm; 8 hour shifts

Qualifications:

• Pharmacy technician experience.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• LTC experience a plus.
• Massachusetts pharmacy technician license.
