Data Entry Pharmacy Technician

Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
Facility: Long Term Care Mail Order

Join a dynamic team at a Long Term Care Mail Order Pharmacy. RPH on the go is seeking individuals who are personable, high-energy, and customer service-oriented to support operations. Training in data entry will be provided for the right candidates.

Job Duties:

• Accurately enter new and refill prescriptions into the operating system to eliminate dispensing errors.
• Triage incoming fax prescriptions to ensure timely processing and dispensing.
• Assist with:
  • Filing completed orders.
  • Packaging medications.
  • Profiling orders for medical records.
  • Filling processed prescriptions.
• Engage in phone conversations with customers and patients to provide assistance and address inquiries.
• Complete daily and weekly tasks assigned by the staff pharmacist.

Schedule:

• Days: Monday-Friday
• Hours: 10:00 AM 6:30 PM

Requirements:

• Active Pharmacy Technician License in Indiana.
• Experience:
  • Previous data entry experience required.
  • Strong customer service skills are essential.
  • Long Term Care experience is a plus but not required.
  • Experience with QS/1 or DocuTrack is a plus but not required.
