RPh on the Go is seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Data Entry Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Plant City, FL. The primary responsibility of this role is to accurately input and maintain data in our computer systems and databases. The ideal candidate should possess excellent typing skills, attention to detail, and a strong ability to work with numerical and text data. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our organizational data.

Job Duties:

1. Prescription Data Entry: The primary responsibility of this role is to enter both new and refill prescriptions into the operating system accurately and promptly. This task is crucial to minimize errors during the dispensing process.
2. Triage Incoming Fax Prescriptions: The technician will be responsible for sorting and prioritizing incoming faxed prescriptions. Ensuring timely processing of these prescriptions is essential to meet patient needs.
3. Support with Order Management: This role involves various tasks related to order management. This includes assisting with filing completed orders, packaging medications, profiling orders for medical records, and filling processed prescriptions.

Requirements:

• Active Pharmacy Technician License in Florida: The candidate must hold an active pharmacy technician license in the state of Florida (FL). This indicates that they are legally qualified to perform pharmacy technician duties in that state.
• 1+ years of recent Pharmacy Experience: Recent pharmacy tech experience is required. The candidate should have practical experience working in a pharmacy setting, ideally performing similar data entry job duties.
