Pharmacy Technician, Days (9AM-6PM) - 12 week contract

We are seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician for a 12 week contract in a long-term care Pharmacy. We're looking for a candidate with long-term care experience.

Schedule: M-F (9AM-6PM); some Saturdays (8:30AM-5PM)

Job Duties:

• Accurately fill prescriptions, package medications, and label them appropriately, including any necessary auxiliary labels.
• Prepare and load medication carts for delivery to various care facilities.
• Receive medication shipments, verify them against purchase orders, and stock shelves, removing outdated items.
• Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries about medications, and provide general customer service, referring complex clinical questions to the pharmacist.

Requirements:

• North Carolina Pharmacy Technician license
• Long term care Pharmacy experience
• Current or recent pharmacy technician experience
