Pharmacy Technician - Fill Tech (1st/2nd Rotating Shift)

RPh on the Go is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician for a 13-week assignment with the possibility of direct hire at an LTC Mail Order pharmacy in Meadville, PA. This position offers the opportunity to work a rotating 1st/2nd shift schedule, Monday through Friday (7:00 AM - 11:00 PM), with a rotation of weekend shifts every third week. The ideal candidate will have pharmacy technician experience, with LTC experience being a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill medication orders in a fast-paced LTC mail order environment.
• Prepare medications for shipment to residents in long-term care facilities.
• Assist pharmacists in managing inventory, medication storage, and order verification.
• Ensure proper labeling and packaging of medications.
• Maintain pharmacy records and comply with state and federal regulations.
• Work closely with the pharmacy team to ensure timely medication delivery.
• Rotating weekend shifts every third week.

Shift Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: Rotating 1st and 2nd shifts (7:00 AM - 11:00 PM).
• Weekend rotation: Every third weekend required.

Required Qualifications:

• Pharmacy Technician License in Pennsylvania.
• LTC experience is a plus, but not required.
• PTCB National Certification is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
