Pharmacy Technician for Order Entry Team Near Troy OH

Looking for a stable, long-term role in an essential healthcare setting? We are hiring an Order Entry Pharmacy Technician to support a growing long-term care pharmacy. This is a direct-hire position with competitive pay, excellent benefits, and shift differentials for evening and weekend work.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday with every other weekend
• 1st Shift: 10:00 AM 6:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM 11:30 PM ($2 shift differential)
• Weekend Differential: up to $3 / hour

Key Responsibilities

• Process prescription orders accurately, including new scripts, STAT orders, and patient admissions.
• Identify and resolve medication discrepancies alongside pharmacists and healthcare teams.
• Utilize pharmacy software to ensure efficient and precise medication dispensing.
• Provide top-tier customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with pharmacy regulations and best practices.

Requirements

• Active Ohio Pharmacy Technician license in good standing.
• At least 2 years of pharmacy order entry experience, ideally in long-term care.
• Proficiency in medical terminology, drug classifications, and pharmacy calculations.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
