Pharmacy Technician for Order Entry Team Troy OH

Are you an experienced pharmacy technician looking for a stable, full-time role in an essential healthcare setting? We re hiring a skilled Order Entry Technician to support our long-term care pharmacy operations. This direct-hire position offers competitive pay, great benefits, and a collaborative work environment.

Schedule:

• Full-Time, Monday-Friday and every other weekend
• 1st Shift: 10 AM 6:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 3 PM 11:30 PM ($2 shift differential)
• Weekend Differential: Additional $3 per hour

What You ll Do:

• Perform accurate order entry, including new prescriptions, STAT orders, medication discontinuations, and patient admissions.
• Identify and resolve prescription discrepancies in collaboration with pharmacists and healthcare providers.
• Utilize the pharmacy computer system to ensure accurate and timely processing of medication orders.
• Provide excellent customer service and support to internal teams and external clients.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with pharmacy regulations and best practices.

What We re Looking For:

• Active Ohio Pharmacy Technician license with a clean record.
• At least two (2) years of pharmacy order entry experience, preferably in a long-term care setting.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, drug classifications, and pharmacy calculations.
• Detail-oriented and proficient in computer-based pharmacy systems.
