Pharmacy Technician Full Time : Alexandria, VA

RPh on the Go is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join a pharmacy team in Alexandria, VA. This is a full-time, contract-to-hire role with a focus on packing/filling prescriptions and data entry/billing, with occasional compounding duties as needed.

Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (No Weekends)
Duration: 13+ Weeks (Temp-to-Perm Opportunity)

Key Responsibilities:

• Packing and filling prescriptions for acute and chronic illnesses
• Perform data entry and billing tasks
• Handle pharmacy intake responsibilities
• Provide sterile compounding assistance during staffing shortages or high-volume situations

Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted Virginia Pharmacy Technician License
• PTCB certification (required in Virginia)
• Knowledge of USP-797 standards for sterile preparations
• 1-2 years of Sterile Compounding or Infusion experience
• Prior Pharmacy Technician experience in Specialty or Home Infusion is preferred
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
