Shift: Evenings, 4:30 12:30am, rotating weekends 1:00pm 9:30pm
Job Summary:
RPh on the Go is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician with Inventory Management Experience to join our team in Horsham, Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will support daily pharmacy operations by ensuring accurate inventory levels, managing stock, and assisting with prescription preparation and customer service. This role is ideal for individuals who have strong experience in inventory control and are committed to maintaining efficient pharmacy operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain pharmacy inventory, including ordering medications, supplies, and monitoring stock levels to ensure optimal inventory levels.
Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper medication storage.
Perform inventory reconciliations, track expired medications, and manage returns to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of prescription medications to patients.
Process medication orders, package and label prescriptions, and ensure proper documentation in the pharmacy s management system.
Provide excellent customer service, addressing patient questions related to medications, refills, and other pharmacy services.
Maintain accurate inventory records in the pharmacy software system, ensuring all items are appropriately tracked and accounted for.
Assist in the organization and cleanliness of the pharmacy, ensuring medication storage areas are properly maintained.
Communicate with vendors and suppliers regarding orders, backorders, and delivery times to ensure timely receipt of medications.
Support pharmacy operations in compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
Active Pharmacy Technician license in good standing with the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy.
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred but not required.
1-2 years of pharmacy technician experience with a strong focus on inventory management.
Proficiency with pharmacy software systems and inventory tracking tools.
Strong understanding of inventory control practices, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and reconciling medications.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills in managing inventory and pharmacy operations.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of HIPAA and all relevant pharmacy regulations related to inventory and medication handling.
