RPh on the Go is now hiring a full-time, dedicated pharmacy technician for a pharmacy in Plainview, NY. This is a full-time contract position with the potential for permanent hire. Assignment Specifics:

• Full time
• 13+ weeks temp to perm
• Shift: Monday- Friday with rotating weekends 11am-7pm OR 12pm-8pm

Job Duties:

• Filling, packaging, label and/or stock medications
• Fill bottles or other package forms with measured amount of medication either manually or mechanically
• Label containers of drugs according to department specification, either manually or mechanically
• Should be familiar with general pharmacy terminology (medication names, etc.)
• Comply with state and federal drug laws and our policies and procedures
• Performs related duties as required.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous Retail or Long Term Care experience is required
• At least 1 year of recent Pharmacy Technician experience
• NY Pharmacy Technician License
• PTCB preferred
