Pharmacy Technician Full Time Syracuse NY

A leading long-term care pharmacy in Syracuse, NY, is hiring Production Pharmacy Technicians to support its expanding operations. This position is ideal for experienced long-term care or retail technicians who can work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Available Shifts:

• 2nd Shift: 12:30 PM - 9:00 PM
• 3rd Shift: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM (eligible for up to $3.00/hour shift differential)

Job Duties:

• Receive and process prescription orders via phone and in person
• Accurately pull, package, and label medications for dispensing
• Perform inventory checks and assist in medication returns
• Scan products for accuracy and alert the pharmacist of any discrepancies
• Follow pharmacy regulations, including HIPAA compliance
• Maintain workstation organization and replenish stock as needed

Requirements:

• At least 6 months of experience as a pharmacy technician in a high-volume retail or long-term care setting
• Pharmacy technician license preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of Frameworks and DocuTrack software preferred
• Ability to work 40 hours per week, including weekends and holidays as needed
