RPh on the Go is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician for a Full-Time Temp to Perm opportunity at a specialty pharmacy in Austin, TX. This role offers a chance to join a professional team committed to providing quality patient care.

Job Details:

• Employment Type: Full-Time, Temp to Perm
• Location: Austin, TX
• Pharmacy Hours:
  • Monday, Tuesday, Friday: 9 AM - 5:30 PM
  • Wednesday, Thursday: 9 AM - 8:30 PM
  • Saturday: 9 AM - 1 PM

Program System: Pioneer RX

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare medications by counting, pouring, mixing, and packaging pharmaceuticals.
• Label containers and input prescription information into the system.
• Verify insurance benefits and handle payment transactions at the Point of Service (POS).
• Interact with patients, case managers, and insurance companies to ensure excellent customer service.
• Coordinate prescription deliveries and manage routine reports and correspondence.
• Address and resolve issues proactively, adhering to company values and goals.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate s degree or higher in a health-related field preferred.
• 1+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience.
• Texas Pharmacy Technician license required (State Registered).
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred.
• Proficiency in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Strong skills in MS Office and familiarity with pharmacy software.
• Reliable transportation and a positive, flexible attitude.
