Pharmacy Technician Hospital Environment (New Orleans, LA)

RPh on the Go is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician for a 6-month contract position in a hospital environment in New Orleans, LA. This role offers the potential for temp-to-hire and is a fantastic opportunity to grow your skills in a supportive team.

Position Details:

• Location: New Orleans, LA
• Term: 6 months, with potential for direct hire
• Shifts: Rotating 1st and 2nd shifts
  • 7:00am 3:30pm
  • 2:30pm 10:00pm
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, rotating weekends

Job Duties:

• Filling medication orders using EPIC.
• Delivering medications within the hospital.
• Performing auto cart fills and managing OmniCell systems (training provided).
• Assisting with IV preparations (preferred but not required).

Requirements:

• Hospital pharmacy technician experience preferred.
• Experience with EPIC (training available).
• Experience with OmniCell (training available).
• IV experience is a plus, but not required.
• Active Louisiana pharmacy technician license.
• PTCB certification preferred but not required.
