Job Title: Pharmacy Technician - Hospital Environment

Join Our Team in a Dynamic Hospital Setting!

We are seeking dedicated Pharmacy Technicians to join our team in a fast-paced hospital environment in New Orleans. This is a 6-month contract position with the potential for direct hire based on performance.

Shift Details:

• Rotating shifts:
  • 1st Shift: 7 AM - 3:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM - 10 PM
• Monday - Friday, with rotating weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fill medication orders using the EPIC system (training provided).
• Deliver medications and assist with automated cart filling using Omnicell (training provided).
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure timely and accurate medication delivery.

Qualifications:

• Hospital pharmacy technician experience preferred.
• Familiarity with EPIC and Omnicell systems (training available).
• IV experience is a plus but not required.
• Valid Louisiana pharmacy technician license.
• PTCB certification preferred but not mandatory.
