We are looking for skilled Pharmacy Technicians to be part of our fast-paced hospital team in New Orleans. This role offers a 6-month contract with the exciting opportunity for direct hire based on your performance.

Shift Information:

• Rotating Shifts:
  • First Shift: 7 AM - 3:30 PM
  • Second Shift: 2:30 PM - 10 PM
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, including rotating weekends.

Key Duties:

• Accurately fill medication orders using the EPIC system (training available).
• Manage medication delivery and support automated cart filling with Omnicell (training provided).
• Work closely with pharmacy staff to ensure prompt and precise medication distribution.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a pharmacy technician in a hospital setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of EPIC and Omnicell systems is beneficial (training offered).
• IV experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Valid pharmacy technician license in Louisiana.
• PTCB certification is preferred, though not required.
