Pharmacy Technician Inpatient Hospital Location: Illinois

RPh on the Go is hiring a dedicated and experienced Pharmacy Technician for a contract position in an inpatient hospital setting. If you re confident working in a fast-paced environment and ready to make an impact in patient care, this is the opportunity for you!

Job Responsibilities:

• Compound medication batches

• Prepare crash carts and Omnicell refills

• Handle auto cart fills and cart restocking

• Assist in daily operations of an inpatient pharmacy

• Collaborate with pharmacists and hospital staff to ensure timely and accurate medication distribution

Requirements:

• Illinois Pharmacy Technician License (active)

• PTCB Certification (required)

• Inpatient hospital experience (required)

• Sterile compounding experience (preferred)

• Strong teamwork, attention to detail, and time management

Details:

• Start: ASAP

• Term: 13 weeks, with potential to extend or convert to permanent

• Shifts: Variable between 7:30 AM 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday

• Weekends: Rotating weekends required
