Pharmacy Technician IV Compounding (12-Week Contract)

RPh on the Go is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician with IV compounding experience for a 12-week contract at a home infusion pharmacy in the southern burbs of IL. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing IV antibiotics and solutions in a clean room environment. This is a full-time, day shift position with the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the home infusion field.

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, experience working in IV compounding, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Shift: Monday to Friday, Days (8:30 AM 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM 5:30 PM)
Environment: Home Infusion

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and compound IV antibiotics and solutions according to established protocols
• Work in a clean room setting to ensure sterile preparation of IV medications
• Ensure accurate labeling and proper documentation of compounded medications
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the compounding area
• Adhere to all safety, regulatory, and quality standards
• Work closely with pharmacists and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care

Requirements:

• Pharmacy Technician experience required
• IV compounding experience is required
• Illinois Pharmacy Technician License required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict guidelines
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous experience in a home infusion pharmacy is a plus
